Creating Backups

Creating a QuickBooks Backup File

Start QuickBooks
Open the company file (If this is a year-end file that you will be sending to us, set the closing date first per the year-end instructions)
Select File > Backup
In the ‘Backup Current Company’ section, browse for your desktop and enter “YourFileName Date.QBB”
Click Save

Click OK (if prompted you are backing up on your hard drive, click OK)
